Melton gets suspended term on misdemeanor plea
A friend asked me the other day what Jackson was doing about Frank Melton. “Not enough,” was all I could think of to say.
11/15/06: Jackson Mayor Frank Melton entered a no contest plea today to a reduced charge of carrying a concealed weapon, a misdemeanor. Melton was initially charged with carrying a weapon on a school campus, a felony.
