What you are is what you have been. What you’ll be is what you do now. – Buddha

It’s always been funny to me that I can sometimes feel like I am working, working, working toward something and it all feels like such a fight, with no progress at all, until suddenly I land with a thud and I’m there.
It’s the same with knitting projects. I knit and knit and knit and feel like I’ll never, ever be done. I can get so tired of it I have to put it down for a bit, walk away. Then come back and make myself slog through for a bit – promise myself I’ll at least knit 10 or 15 minutes a day on it.
Then I realize I am close to the end and it feels like it was all a breeze.
